Thailand

Vogel twins travel

Thailand is a beautiful country known for its stunning beaches, delicious food, and rich cultural heritage. From the bustling streets of Bangkok to the serene temples of Chiang Mai, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're looking to relax on the beach, explore ancient ruins, or indulge in world-class cuisine, Thailand is a must-visit destination.

When we visited

The best time to visit Thailand is between November and February, when the weather is dry and temperatures are more comfortable. March to May can be very hot and humid, while June to October is the rainy season with increased chance of tropical storms. However, the rainy season can also offer lush green scenery and fewer crowds.

Packing Essentials

It's important to consider the hot and humid weather. Lightweight, breathable clothing and don't forget to pack sunscreen, insect repellent, and comfortable shoes for walking. If you plan on visiting temples, be sure to bring clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. We recommend checking out our amazon storefront

Booking

Whether you're a budget traveler or simply want to find the best deal on your flights, we highly recommend using Skyscanner to book your next trip. This site is an excellent tool for finding affordable flights as it searches hundreds of airlines, travel agents, and booking sites to find the best deals available.

Currency

Thailand's currency is the Thai Baht (THB), and it's recommended to exchange your currency for baht while in Thailand. The most convenient way to get baht is by withdrawing cash from ATMs, which are widely available in cities and tourist areas. You can also exchange foreign currency at banks, currency exchange booths, or hotels, but be aware that rates may vary.
