Taxis, tuk-tuks, and songthaews (shared taxis) are readily available, but it's essential to negotiate the fare in advance. Additionally, renting a scooter or motorbike can give you more freedom to explore the island at your own pace. For island hopping or reaching beaches that are only accessible by water, long-tail boats or speedboats are available for hire at various piers and beaches.
